The atmosphere of the heights

All the photos on this site were taken during my ascents, by a climbing partner or by myself.

In particular, all the atmosphere photos you can enjoy on the site were taken by Steve Beerli, on 5 and 6 August 2021, during the ascent of the Dent Blanche that he was making at the same time as me. In the height of summer, the mountain had put on a fine white cloak that enhanced its relief and gave its glaciers a pearly sheen.

This gallery offers a few of the shots he kindly shared with me. They bear splendid witness to the intensity of that very first ascent, which launched the vast project that would become the Quête des 4000.
